A social worker will visit you at home to get to know you.
You’ll find out more about different types of fostering and be able to discuss what arrangement is best for you and your family. You can ask any questions you may have, maybe you want to know more about the application process or the impact on other family members.
The social worker is not trying to catch you out. Foster children really need you and we will do everything possible to address any concerns or remove any obstacles.
