New school opportunities
Invitation to potential sponsors to apply to run a new 190 place special school
The new school will be spread across two sites, with:
- 150 places at Wolsey Park, Rayleigh
- 40 places at Chetwood, South Woodham Ferrers
It has a planned opening date of September 2026.

Application
Potential sponsors should first register their interest at the earliest opportunity by emailing ralph.holloway@essex.gov.uk.
The full application form (DOC, 39.37 KB) and proposal should then be sent to the same email address by 28 June 2024.
Your proposal should provide additional materials and information to demonstrate how it meets the application criteria and DfE requirements.
