We Rise is a youth movement that helps to remove barriers to jobs and skills for 16 to 25-year-olds.

Building on the success of the first two, We Rise is funding places on a third round of the Earniversity Fast Track Challenge. This will teach young people the skills they need to turn their business dreams into reality.

It is open to 13 to 25-year-olds and starts on 3 March. It is run online in the evenings to make it easy for those balancing education, training or work.

Young people can complete the online form to secure a place, which are limited.

Last November, 46 young residents took part in the programme. The course:

  • taught key skills such as content creation, reselling, in-person services, freelancing and affiliate marketing
  • helped participants earn an impressive £5,000 by launching their own businesses and side hustles, from website design to babysitting

One participant shared: “This programme has been life-changing! It gave me confidence in my skills, from creating websites to reselling. I’m now earning money while applying for jobs, and I feel more prepared than ever for the future.”
