Residents needed to improve outcomes in health and wellbeing services

test

We are urging residents to share their experiences of health and wellbeing services.

Our Caring Communities Commision was recently launched to improve public service outcomes. It it chaired by Councillor Beverley Egan with 11 other commissioners. These include leaders from the NHS, voluntary sector and cross-party political groups.

The commission wants to build capacity in local communities and strengthen existing connections. It does this by learning from frontline staff, local organisations and service users.

Commissioners are asking a series of questions to learn about challenges and opportunities.

Councillor Egan said: “The commission only works if we hear from those it directly affects. I therefore encourage everyone who regularly uses public services, or works in public services, to tell us about the biggest issues they face. As well as the greatest strengths they’ve come across in their local areas."

You can share your experiences of health and wellbeing services until 6 January 2025.

The commission can also be contacted via email if you would like to hear about engagement opportunities.
