The Caring Communities Commission has started its work to transform public service outcomes.

The commission is chaired by Councillor Beverley Egan and made up of 11 other commissioners.

They represent a powerful group of diverse organisations. This includes the NHS, voluntary sector, political groups and healthcare providers.

In its first year, the commission will listen to communities to understand health and social care concerns.

This will be done through face-to-face meetings and online forums. This includes meetings with healthcare providers, frontline staff and service users across Essex.

The Caring Communities Commission aims to publish a report of its findings in March 2025.

Find out more and meet the commissioners on the Caring Communities Commission webpage.
