Working with London & Partners, we have launched an exciting new business support programme.
The Growing Essex Global programme will help local businesses develop international trading abilities. It will also help them break into new markets and attract investment.
Since 2011, London & Partners have helped to add more than £3.1Bn and 84,000 jobs to the economy of London. This is the first time that Essex businesses will be able to tap into their expertise.
They will join a community of businesses supported by London & Partners from across the UK.
The programme will start later this year and last for 12 months. Businesses will have access to a trade manager and tailored support to meet their needs, including:
- workshops and Events – providing advice and guidance on navigating new markets
- trade missions – joining international business trips to Europe, the United States, India, and many others
- corporate and investor engagement – opportunities to connect with top investors
To be part of the programme businesses must have:
- an Essex-registered address
- 10 or more employees
- either £1 million in annual (UK) revenue, or the equivalent in funding or investment
There are 12 spaces available on the programme. Businesses should fill in the registration form to apply for the programme.
