We hosted winners of the King’s Awards for Enterprise with the Essex Lieutenancy.
The awards represent the highest quality and level of business acumen. Past victors have reported increased sales, morale and marketing potential as a result of winning.
This year, we saw more Essex-based winners than before and an Essex victor in every category:
· Innovation
· International Trade
· Sustainable Development
· Promoting Opportunity Through Social Mobility
Greater Essex also saw the second highest number of victories. This is second only to Greater London and represents almost one third of wins across the East of England.
Our networking event in County Hall, Chelmsford, united 2024 winners and past winners.
The businesses were encouraged to apply for the King’s Awards for Enterprise 2025 and motivate others to as well.

We encourage all eligible Essex businesses to apply for the King’s Awards for Enterprise 2025. Applications are open until Thursday 12 September.
