Frontline staff and those at high risk in Essex can now get their Covid-19 booster.

Viruses like Covid usually peak in autumn and winter. But the more residents vaccinated, the safer everyone in Essex will be.

With new strains and rising cases, it's vital those at risk of serious illness and disease get boosted. This is in addition to frontline staff such as NHS workers.

The annual flu vaccine is also an effective way to keep your immunity topped up. This is being made available where possible and is safe to have alongside the Covid jab.

Those eligible should receive an invite for their Covid booster and flu vaccination. This includes over-65s, residents in care homes for older adults and other high-risk groups.
