Essex Housing
Essex County Council is not a housing authority. However, we do have a programme of housing development. This programme is being delivered through Essex Housing, our in-house development arm. Essex Housing uses publicly-owned land to:
- provide new homes and community buildings
- improve local areas
- fund vital public services
