Students and teachers from different schools and colleges have united to collaborate over climate action.

The Essex School’s Climate Action Network (ESCAN) will meet at least three times per academic year. They will share ideas and engage over the great challenge facing their generation.

ESCAN launched for the 2024/25 academic year at an event with keynote speaker Lord Zac Goldsmith. He spoke about the importance of making the right decisions now for the future.

ESCAN was proposed by Prajwal Pandey in September 2022. He is the young co-chair of the Essex Climate Action Commission.

The 2024 autumn term will serve as a pilot for ESCAN to gather feedback.

There is no limit on how many members can join ESCAN and you can join today.
